it is nothing wrong with the compilation. After you start openser, try:
ps auxw | grep openser
to see if openser is running.

Have you looked for error in /var/log/syslog?
Do you understand the openser.cfg?

Status of openser: openser is not running.
So, I don't undrstand why.
