Kamailio & Asterisk SIP Registration Forwarding - Asterisk replies 401 Unauthorized

Hi, I've been following this integration tutorial http://kb.asipto.com/asterisk:realtime:kamailio-4.0.x-asterisk-11.3.0-astdb and have a successful registration and I can even make calls through my asterisk box. However what is unusual to me is that every time a phone registers with Kamailio, that is forwarded to Asterisk (as expected), yet Asterisk replies with 401 Unauthorized. Oddly enough the phone registers and can still make calls. What worries me is that as we scale to 100's of cps, this seemingly erroneous message may slow down Asterisk because it's trying to handle authentication for users which have already been authenticated by Kamailio. If this behavior is expected, then that would be good to know as well. I want to register SIP Trunk directly in Kamailio. How can I register the SIP trunk in Kamailio. Please find the below sample SIP trunk details. Support for TLS server_name extension (aka SNI=server name indication)

Hi, Back in Kamailio 1.5, the release notes state: "support for TLS server_name extension (aka SNI=server name indication)" However, I cannot find any indication of this in the current TLS docs, and trying to set tls_server_name or server_name in tls.cfg fails with "unsupported option". [4.2] how to send out BYE successfully to close a TCP/TLS connection which misses the connection ID?

For some reasons, My settings will cause kamailio to be restarted even if there were connections connected to it. And when one SIP client in a connection wanted to hangup the call with a WebRTC Client (SIP over websocket) after the proxy-restarting, local client was closed, however , the other side was not. >From the log below it seems that the connection missed. And is there any way to make Websocket found the connection? Btw, after proxy-restarting for seconds , I typed `sh kamctl stats` : websocket:ws_current_connections = 1 It showed that the WebRTC Client will re-connect automatically, So I think this connection could be found by proxy, Any suggestion? Getting the name of an already set onreply_route

Via header force change protocol to TLS?

I have kamailio behind a TLS termination proxy so the sockets are correctly deduced to be TCP. However the clients only talk TLS to the proxy and are confused when the top Via header added by Kamailio is TCP. Is there a way for Kamailio to forcibly pretend its protocol is TLS? Like advertised_address but "advertised_protocol" instead. (With pjsip testing: it has a flag use_tls which ignores TCP from Kamailio and continues to use the persistent TLS transport to proxy. Linphone fails because it tries to honor TCP in Via and is unable to establish TCP transport). BTW I am using t_relay_to_tcp so Kamailio will return traffic to the proxy as TCP even though the contact addresses specify transport=TLS.

Dialog and DMQ on restart

Hi everybody, I'm just testing Kamailio 5.4.1 with dialog replication over DMQ. This seems to work very good. Dialogs are replicated without problems. When I'm restarting one node I would have expected, that all dialogs are synced again, just like in dmq_usrloc. But this does not happen. After a restart the nodes dialog-list is empty. Did I miss somethin? Is there a special parameter that I have to set? Upgrade Minor versions

Hi there, I have taken over a project that uses Kamailio. I am aware of what we use it for - I am just not sure on the how... apart from what I have read in the docs. We're currently running 5.4.2 and I'd like to upgrade to (at least) the latest 5.4 offering - as that seems as if it would be the easiest and safest option. So I am hoping I might get some direction, please - on the way forward for an upgrade. The documentation seems OK if you're upgrading minor versions... but I couldn;t find anything about upgrading patch versions. Thanks!
