[Users] What to do when the ip address of the phone changes?

When a phone registers it has an expire time of 3600 sec. The user just turned off the phone and plugged it into another network. The server does not let register anymore, since it is already registered. Need to wait 1300 seconds for next register. Is there a way (openserctl xxxxxx) to release the phone ? I don't want to remove the phone from the database!!! bye Ronald

Hi all I have implemented the load balance in mode statefull, I obtained the next messages: phone1 dispatcher sipserver phone2 --------INVITE--------> ----INVITE-----------> ----INVITE--------> <----100 TRYING---- <---100 TRYING---- <---100 TRYING---- <----180 RINGING-- <---180 RINGING--- <---180 RINGING--- <----200 OK---------- <----- 200 OK-------- <---200 OK-------- -------- ACK --------> --------- ACK --------> You can see that the sipserver never sends ACK message to video_phone2. Is this correct? Then I try the next, in the sipserver: if (method =="ACK"){ if (!t_relay()) { sl_reply_error(); }; return; } But the sipserver doesn't send the message ACK at the phone2? [Users] How to get debug print out?

Hi folks, I setup "debug=7" in openser.cfg, however I still cannot get any detail debug print out in /var/log/messages. Here is how I launch the openser: openserctl start There is a logic errors in openser.cfg and I try to trace down the call step by step, how can I do it? [Users] New Rules: no line wrapping

I'ld like to make a plea to everyone on this list: Please make sure that your mailer doesn't fold long lines in your outbound email. There are certain things that should be sent verbatim (although possibly "anonymized") for example, ngrep output and openser.cfg snippets. I hope I don't send mangled email... let me know if I do, but please make sure it's not your mail reader that is doing the mangling. Thanks, -mark

[Users] CPL module

Hi, I have installed openser and its CPL module and I use CPLEd to write and upload service. I have some problem with the timeout attribut of proxy XML node. It's seem to be not taken into account and the "no answer" node is interpreted about 2 min later. I set the timeout in the CPL script at 5 sec. After re-reading the CPL module documentation and check the cpl_proxy.h code, I try to set the "timer_avp" param without success. Can I have some information on how AVP and timer works ?
