Hi,serusers-request
In my ser.cfg there is a line as :
loadmodule "/usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so"
When I start ser, it tell the follow error:
ERROR: bad config file (1 errors)
I have the mysql.so in /usr/local/lib/ser/modules/
If I comment it, ser can run.
Can someone tell me why?

Hello,
Is there anyone in the list who managed to use AG's mediaproxy with stable version of ser?
I tried following their instructions ie get module code from cvs and compile in stable source tree.
It compiles but ser crashes in 'del_lump' function whenever any mediaproxy's function is called.
Thanks,
Alex

Dear All,
I'm a long-term Asterisk user and have two data centers using Asterisks to
send and receive calls. This works great and I service
I needed a capable SIP proxy and following some good reviews of SER I put a
copy of SER in my test lab.
Quad T1's<->Asterisk (PBX)<->(LAN<->DMZ)<->SER<->(Firewall)<->(Internet)
|
Local US Help Desk (Snom 200')
This setup works well. I can pass calls from over the internet to the
Asterisk PBX via SER using X-Ten Lit.
I have now loaded Ser WEB and like the functionality. I understand to use
the accounting, missed calls and voicemail I need to use the sem modules?
I downloaded the sem modules from the cvs repository on belios.de.
I can't really find any documentation on how to integrate voicemail.
At the moment if I don't have one of my users registered with ser and I try
to dial them I get 404 error.
I would really appreciate some help;
1. How do I make the system emulate the phone ringing and not just get a
404?
2. How do I send the call to Voicemail after 10 rings if the user is not
available?
Warm Regards

Lately, I have been doing a lot of tests on parallel forking. I would like
to know if "Flag" is transaction base, message base or uri based.
Say, User2 register with SER in two locations, one is in the public network
(UAPub) and the other is in the private network (UAPri).
Again, suppose the NAT flag is 5.
Now when User1 call User2, after lookup("location"), there will be two
branches, User1 -> UAPub and User1 -> UAPri.
lookup("location");
if (isflagset(5) {
nathelper logic ...
};
What will happen to the flag in the above case? Does each branch get a
different flag?

I would like to implement following call features:
conference call
stutter dialtone
message notification
three way calling
call forwarding
call return
follow me/find me
Can I do this with SER and how?

RadAcctId is indeed unique because is auto-increment column from mysql.
Radius server has however no knowledge about this unique id when making
an update because is not present in the START or STOP packet.
The unique key used by default by radius radacct table is made of:
Acct-Session-Id
Acct-Unique-Session-Id
Acct-Session-Id should be unique but is = SIP callid and when coming
from buggy phones it's not.
Acct-Unique-Session-Id should also be unique but sometimes is not. It
is server generated so it could be easily corrected.
Does anyone know where is Acct-Unique-Session-Id generated?
SER, Radius client or Radius Server?

hi,
I have downloaded SER from the website Iptel.org. I was able to run the
server in authentication mode. I want to call transfer option to be enabled.
In order to do that which module has to be added to the configuration file.
The configuration file is as shown.
