There are no special requirements to work with SER. We use the
c5300-js-mz.123-10.bin Firmware with two E1 cards and one VFC board.
Have a look at
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/fvv…
which is for IOS 12.2, but most of it is valid for 12.3 too.
