I'm not now updated on the RH9 issue but I suppose that Laurent refers
to 8.11 packages whereas Daniel refers to 8.11-stable CVS status which
may include some fixes over the packages.

I have some trouble with ser.
First I have installed the 0.8.11 but I see that this version with red hat 9
is not always started correctly.
Then I have installed the version 0.8.11pre29, this version start correctly
but I see that after a few hours the server does not send any responses.
