For testing and development, sure.
In debian you need to add the Repo as stated above, adding the key:
wget -O- http://deb.kamailio.org/kamailiodebkey.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
Then adding the repo to the apt repo list:
echo "deb http://deb.kamailio.org/kamailio51 stretch main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list
Then update apt:
apt-get update
Then install kamailio:
apt-get install kamailio kamailio-mysql...
To see exactly what you can install:
apt-get search kamailio
And take it from the list.
