Guidance on using Kamailio as Presence Server and Scalability issues for millions of subsribers

We're trying to determine how best to design/architect a solution where we use Kamailio as a Presence/XCAP server and be scalable to support millions of subscribers. I see the Dispatcher module, but it appears that requires having dedicated instances of the server running just in Dispatcher mode - then you can load balance across the actual instances of the presence servers. It's not clear if a server can be configured to work as a dispatcher and a presence server at the same time. Does anyone have any high-level guidance how to approach this problem? Hi, My kamailio installation usually works right, but sometimes, it crashes and it shows the following error: "ERROR: ctl [ctl.c:379]: ERROR: ctl: could not delete unix socket /tmp/kamailio_ctl: Operation not permitted (1) " Do you know why it happens randomly or what's the cause ? preparing kamailio 3.3.2

Hello, I am considering packaging Kamailio v3.3.2 at the beginning of next week (Monday or Tuesday). If any of the devs have backports to be done, do them before the end of this week. Also, if someone spotted some fixes in the master that were not backported, write to the lists so we can care of them. Hi, how can i delay sending of a message ? A ----> proxy (after x seconds) ---> B If I use the sleep function of the cfgutils module,I block all the calls for the sleep time or the single one? Thanks

Error on compiling Kamailio with TLS support in Ubuntu 10.04LTE

Hi All I am trying to compile Kamailio - 3.1.5 in Ubuntu 10.04LTE . Tried below comands one by one make -C modules/tls make modules modules=modules/tls make all include_modules=tls But always getting the error *In file included from tls_bio.c:31: tls_bio.h:32:25: warning: openssl/bio.h: No such file or directory * It looks that openssl is not installed in machine. I tried installing openssl as belowB sudo apt-get install libssl-dev But it fails always. The error it gets is *root@B2BUA:/usr/local/src/kamailio-3.1.5# sudo apt-get install libssl-dev sudo: unable to resolve host B2BUA Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. You can't, exactly. Kamailio 3.3.0 CDR logging call "duration"

I create in Database new field "duration" and trying write in this field variable $DLG_lifetime (from dialog module) , but can't do this. DTLS support in Kamailio

Hello I have created a SRV record for sip.domain.tld pointing to our kamailio server, the domain by itself resolves to our DNS IP. Wesip Netbeans

Hi , anyone know if it is possible to use Wesip with Glassfish instead of Tomcat? I'm new in using Glassfish and sip servlet, and I don't know how to start the sip servlet. In tomcat there is the file server.xml, and the connector . How "say" to glassfish to start a listener on sip packet ? If it's not possible to use Glassfish, how i can open a sar project with netbeans e debug it? Thanks to all
