Hello Daniel, I've done several test with different scenarios: 1) including 4 hosts in the answer of the SRV reply message; the 1st and 2nd host are unreachable, the third an fourth are reachable - the SIP message never reached the target (= host 3) 2) including 4 hosts in the answer of the SRV reply message; the SIP service is not running on the first and second host; the third and fourth have the service activated - the SIP message is transmitted to the second host after the fr_timeout of the TM module, but is not forwarded to the target (= host 3); it is retransmitted to host 2 until SIP timeout The conclusion is: when only on master and slave are in the answer of the SRV reply message it works fine. But starting with the third host the service hangs on the second host and does not try reaching an alternative target (as listed in the SRV response). But practically it is only sent to the first and second target. Do you have any other idea what could be wrong? [Kamailio-Users] t_relay with result code -6 creates transaction

i was playing with t_relay and tcp and noticed that when forwarding to a tcp contact fails, transaction is still created although README says: * 0x02 - do not internally send a negative reply in case of forward failure (due internal error, bad RURI, bad message, etc). When a forward failure occurs, no SIP request is relayed and therefore no negative reply or timeout will show up on the failure_route (if one is set). It applies only when the transaction is created. By default one negative reply is sent. [Kamailio-Users] bug in subscribe when contact uses tcp transport?

Hello, I've installed kamailio 1.4.3 (without tls) on ubuntu by following the provided INSTALL guide. I want to use it as a presence server but i've got some problems creating the MySQL database: I got this error : *ERROR* *1105* (HY000): *MyISAM* *table* ‘version′ *is* *in* *use* (*most* * likely* *by* *a* *MERGE* *table*). *Try* *FLUSH* *TABLES*… Could anyone help please? -- Sara

[Kamailio-Users] lcr-module, ping and load_gws_from_grp (kamailio 1.5)

Hi, I just noticed something weird when working with the lcr module. My setup has 5 gateways - 4 in group 1, one in group 2. The lcr-table has an entry for each group, both reacting on the same prefix. I am using load_gws_from_grp("1") to get a gateway for a target. This usually works fine. If now all 4 gateways in group 1 ar disabled because the alive check failed, load_gws_from_grp("1") returns the gateway from group 2 (or other groups where the prefix from the lcr-table matches. I would consider this a bug, since I explicitly requested gateways from a specific group. Regards, Stefan

Hi, I work with Kamailio as Proxy and a call manager. From a MI_datagram script I manage kamailio. My script check the current data rate on different links. So if the max data rate is reached my script must cancel the call. That works good because I can use t_reply or sl_send_reply from request route and send cancel or status error. But in one case I need to cancel the call after receiving the trying (after INIVTE) from the call manager (because the call manager could preempt a call to free some space one the link) My trouble is that i can't use t_reply or sl_send _reply from REPLY_ROUTE and to cancel the call properly i need to send a status error, so i can't use t_uac_dlg from my management interface (because this function sends request only). I didn't find out a solution to do this, so is someone have one ...? [Kamailio-Users] reseting of t_on_branch, t_on_reply and t_on_failure

i have noticed that i need to call again t_on_branch, t_on_reply and t_on_failure in failure route before calling again t_relay, i.e., successful call of t_relay resets these settings and they need to be re-armed. how about if t_relay fails and transaction is not created? are the t_on_X calls still in effect or do they need to be re-armed again? i haven't found in tm/README any discussion about when the t_on_X calls get reset. -- juha
