Sorry , U can use Alepo radius server , this Alepo radius server should communicate with Radiusclient of the OpenSER radiusclient dictionary should mached the Alepo radius server. [Users] authentication with other DB

Hello I just installed OpenSER and configured digest authentication with a local database. The content of the database was copied from other server. The ser.cfg and the database are the same... but OpenSER dont allow the users to register.... :( Whats the problem of doing a postgresql dump and then recover the DB in other PC? Same radius client config, same radius server config, just 1.2 from 1.1.1 but an error : 5(23229) ERROR:auth_radius:radius_authorize_sterman: rc_auth failed Radius server get a good authenticate but openser failed this after :(

Hi Bogdan, I found the following thread in the list http://www.openser.org/pipermail/users/2006-June/005339.html I suspect that I have the same issue. If I assume that our DNS is strange, then my 1.1.1-notls version will be affected, right? Is there a patch to fix this? Eventually I want to go to 1.2 but I have to do a lot of testing before I can put it in production. So for the moment I need a fix for 1.1.1. Also back in December I sent this to the list http://www.openser.org/pipermail/users/2006-December/008205.html >From the start, we had the issue of openser stopping to process any incoming requests. On December I thought it was DNS related. I am still in the dark about this. Lately I added logging and I discovered the "out of memory" error. I am guessing that the error was there from the start, I just did not know about it. Do all of these make any sense to you? And is there a way to test our DNS to determine whether it is buggy? The default version of openser has no problem loading them at startup. The version compiled with DBG_QM_MALLOC and without F_MALLOC cannot load the location table. The same happens if I increase the shared memory with the -m option. Does this mean that ul is stored in private memory? [Serusers] MySql Module Error!!

I was using SER 0.9.6 earlier. Recently, I downloaded the SER 2.0 source code and installed it as follows. make group_include="standard standard-dep stable experimental presence" all It went without any problems. But there seems to be some kind of problem with loading of mysql module. I have also removed the references for fifo from my old configuration file. When i check the configuration file with ser -c i get the following error message: 0(13302) ERROR: load_module: could not open module </usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so>: /usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so: undefined symbol: fm_malloc 0(13302) parse error (34,13-14): failed to load module Can anyone please help me as soon as possible. Am i missing something?? Thank you in advance kumar

I have discovered an even nastier issue. When Openser is configured in forking mode, and with or without log_stderror, it presents the same symptom I reported when compiled on 64 bits (it exhausts the shared memory reservation, and crashes with core dumping). For various reasons we've elected to go with Porta/Maxim Sobalov's rtpproxy as opposed to the MediaProxy code; however, we would like to know if its possible to do any of the following with rtpproxy or if we should consider going to MediaProxy instead 1) Multiple Load Balanced rtpproxy servers 2) Voice path fail over, so that if we lose 1 RTP proxy the call continues on another. I was thinking 2 could be implemented using an OpenBSD/CARP FreeBSD/CARP type of scenario, where 2 rtpproxy servers share 1 IP address; however, OpenSER would need to set up an rtpproxy session on BOTH servers to accomplish this and the OS can do the rest. Any opinions or comments are welcome.
