I have succesfully installed SER 0.9.6 on my slackware 10.2 linux box. I can
connect from my internal network but when i try to connect from an outside
internet ip address something is blocking it.
I have a speedtouch 530 router for a ADSL connection
I have unbind and route requests to my ser server ( port 5060 ) but still
nothing
Any Ideas
?

hi all,
i am trying to send $tU in exec_dset function. my function look like this
exec_dset("fwdnoanswer1.sh '$tU'");
in this function my script fwdnoanswer1.sh will take $tU as an input and check my database to get the forward number and it has to dail out to fwd number.
when i runned script manually it was giving proper result. but when i used this script in exec_dset i am not getting fwd number.
can any one please help me how to use this exec_dset() function. according to me the script is not taking that value $tU.

Hi!
I want to extra-account several parameters like source IP address:port,
received socket, TLS parameters for the incoming connection AND the
outgoing connection.
The incoming connection is simple. I just copy the pseudo variables into
the AVPs which are extra accountend.
For accounting the outgoing parameters, I abuse the response. In the
default response route I copy the socket info and TLS parameters into
other AVPs (which are also marked for extra accounting).
The AVPs which are filled during the request are stored in the database.
But the AVPs which are filled in the response do not get filled into the DB.
Is there a limitation within the ACC module?

When subtituting a whole line like:
subst('/^To:.*$/To: fred/');
It appears that the line gets terminated using only a "\n" rather than a
"\r\n". This causes problems with some clients.

I had a problem earlier where the lcr module would stop rolling over
(i.e., next_gw() was not returning the next gateway, even though there
*were* valid gateways to return).
During debugging and burrowing around, I serendipitously discovered that
my 'missed_calls' table did not have the same schema as the acc table (i
had added new columns to the acc table, but not to the missed_calls table).
Well, I made the schemae of the two tables identical, and that seems to
have cleared up the lcr problem - i.e., the the calls roll over
perfectly now.
So, do you think there is some kind of connection leak? Maybe
when/where it tries to write to the missed_calls table (and fails,
repeatedly), it is clobbering something?
Just FYI...
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with aliases, when i try to create a aliase by SERCTL command : /usr/sbin/serctl alias add 5000 sip:faisal@10.19.200.67
it gives the error like this
" 400 Table 'aliases' not found in memory, use save("aliases") or lookup("aliases") in the configuration script first "
Can anybody help me how to solve this issue
Thanks in advance,
Faisal
