Hi, Using serctl, I want to add an user: ser:/usr/local/etc/ser # serctl add 60000 plop me(a)host.tld MySql password: I type here my 'ser' user password and it then goes wrong: ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'serro'@'localhost' (using password: YES) Why does it use serro user for an add? If I try the same but type the serro's password, same result happens (which should be right, since serro is not able to do an INSERT in db ser) And, of course, yes, I've run the ser_mysql.sh script. MYSQL.db contains lines for users ser and serro. It finish with that: error: 400; check if you use aliases in SER Do not understand this, but maybe it is implyed by previous error. [Serusers] SER x Nextone problem

Hi guys, I've been experiencing some troubles with carrier's that are using Nextone (www.nextone.com). I could place calls through Nextone but no longer then 1 minute, between 48 and 53 seconds the call is dropped with a BYE sent by Nextone. I've been using another carriers using Cisco and Quintum without problems. Does some one experimenting this problem? I'm using SER 0.8.14. [Serusers] SER Billing System !!!

The thing is the ACK being returned from the UAC contains a route header that does not match when passing loose_route() (the route header holds the contents of the Contact header in the 200 OK), so eventually the ACK hits a t_relay() in which case SER forwards the message to the RURI, which is itself (lather, rinse, repeat). I believe that this is due to the use of Strict Routing on the part of the UAC and i need to treat it accordingly on SER, however the "strict_route()" function seems to have dissappeared from rr.so so i'm currently searching for a way to replace the URI with the URI from the Route HF in the event that a UAC does strict routing Samuel Osorio Calvo wrote: >Hi all, > >We face some "strange" behaviour when several "SIP programs" run on the >same machine as SER does that may be realted whith your scenario. [Serusers] rpid and append_hf

Hi I have added rpid for each username in my DB and they are being picked up fine save_rpid(): rpid value is '123456789' 4(2890) authorize(): set string AVP 'rpid = 123456789' but when a call is made this is not being sent as the CLI, in fact I dont get a callerid. I added append_hf to my routing block, after authorising, and after the correct gateway had been looked up, but alas no luck, anyone have a sample CLI route. Iqbal

[Serusers] Question regarding TCP connection to SER

Hello, I have an application which talks to SER (version 0.9.0) over UDP and it works fine. Now I'm trying to modify it to do the same over TCP and have the following problem: The connection established Ok, I have the registration exchange working over tcp ok, but all other messages SER tries to deliver over UDP... I can see on the wire that all the packets related to the registration are going over TCP, but once I send an invite from another user, SER is trying to send it to the application over UDP.
