Hi,
I've always got my problem with pdt, moreover I don't know
if my ser.cfg is correct or if the other SIP accept my requests.
For iptel.org it refuses relaying : 403 No relaying :-(
For fwd.pulver.com 483 Too Many Hops :'(
And I've found something :
When I use a GrandStream phone the INVITE request contain this :
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP XX.XX.95.40;branch=z9hG4bK6e3e.beff4bf6.0
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP YY.YY.114.221;rport=62261;received=ZZ.ZZ.78.42
And fwd.pulver.com says 483
But when I use Linphone :
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP XX.XX.XX.XX:5082; branch=PPC1805202.z9hG4bK05a4,SIP/2.0/UDP
192.246.69.223;branch=z9hG4bK05a4.14d79b55.1,SIP/2.0/UDP
193.56.114.19:5060;received=81.250.78.42
But on SIP's rfc, GrandStream use the right syntax but not linphone and
pulver ?
Is there a mistake of my part ? The two expressions are correct ?
Thanks you for listenning to me.
Greetings,
Charles

Rather than *break* the proxy try look at fixing the bad client (if of
course it is open source) - if not contact the vendor

Hi all,
I've tried to set up a ser-0.8.14 system to authenticate users from a
MySQL database. I've read most of the documentation on iptel.org including
all examples that I've found on this list.
After some major tweaking with the ser.cfg file, I cannot get ser to fetch
information from the database.
The database is up and running, and I get no errors from the db connection.
SerWeb is also working fine, but it ends up with the telephone being
rejected when trying to REGISTER with ser.
Is there some kind person that would like to share your ser.cfg ?
I just need a working example to get the "register" method to fetch the
username and password from the database.
Thanks!
Johan
SIP termination Gateway send two 183 "Session in Progress" msg back to SER, first one without SDP, second one with SDP ( for remote ring back tone purpose ), but this crashed the caller party sip phone somehow, how can we drop the first 183 msg in SER.CFG? We just need forward the second 183 msg to caller party, but don't forwarding the first one, how to porgram onreply_route part? just use break sentense doesn't help. Thanks your great help.
Regards,

i downloaded the new deb package of ser 0.8.14 and installed it with the
mysql module as well. when i started it it game back with the mysql errors
for the acc module.

So i downloaded the 0.8.14 release of cvs and compiled the acc module with

I use ser 0.8.14 with pdt module in order to call other people on other
domain.
a sample of my ser.cfg:
loadmodule "/usr/local/lib/ser/modules/pdt.so"
modparam("pdt", "db_url", "sql://ser:ser_password@localhost/pdt")
modparam("pdt", "db_table", "domains")
modparam("pdt", "prefix", "2")
modparam("pdt", "terminator",0)
route {
.....
loose_route();
prefix2domain();
record_route();
.......
}
I entered in DB the code and domain matching. code = 333
domain[333]=fwd.pulver.com
(0 is the terminator digit by default)
When I use Xten client (SIP softphone) and I call a user at fwd.pulver.com
from mydomain.com : 23330XXXXX(a)fwd.pulver.com
fwd.pulver.com tells me Too Many Hops ?
Where is the problem ? fwd.pulver.com ? Or my SER ?
My SER works perfectly with all users registered at it.
Thanks you
Hi,
In my ser script, I call cpl_run_script("incoming",
"force_stateful"). With the following cpl script, I
can't handle ACK well. So ser keeps sending 200 OK to
the caller. I called t_newtran() for ACK but doesn't
seem to have effect. The ser debug is as follows.
Thanks,
Richard
