Hi All.
How can I limit a user to one (1) registered UAC? I found this article from 2003
http://lists.iptel.org/pipermail/serusers/2003-March/000576.html
And Jiri says that at that time ser could not do this.
I'm using ser-0.8.99-dev24 (soon to be using ser-0.9) so I'm hoping that avpops or something will
do the trick.
Ideally I'd want to be able to vary the number of phones a user can have based on a database
entry. So if a customer is paying for 3 "seats" then they can have 3 registered phones.
Can anyone give me some hints?
Regards,
Paul

Dear Sir,
When does tm delete a transaction from share memory whether this
transaction succeeded or failed? And which function in tm module is
reponsible to do such thing?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
make sure that register_globals parameter on the php.ini file (/etc/php.ini)
is turned. After changing this value, then you have to restart the http
server. If this parameter has been set, then it might be a mistake in the
config.php script, where the path to the user_interface is not the right
one!!
best regards,

Subject: [Serusers] Problem in login user interface
Hi All,
I'm new to SER. I have some problems about login the user interface. When
login, it seems the login process holds and don't have any response. And the
permission of fifo file is set to 666. Could anyone help me to solve this
problem ?
Thank you very much.

Tracy

Hi,
I'm just getting familiar with ser & serweb. I successfully installed
ser-0.9.0 and I'm ready for my next step which is to run some basic
tests (e.g., registering users, initiating calls). From what I
understand serweb allows me to do all these things. My 1st question is,
are there any other tools (e.g., command-line utilities) that I can use
for such testing or is serweb is the recommended way of doing these?
My 2nd question is in regard to serweb installation. After I customized
the config.php script (I'm not sure if I did it right), I tried to open
the index.php file in my browser (konqueror) and got prompted by the
system about which application to use to open the file? What do I need
to do in order for my web browser to open this file properly? Also,
INSTALL instructions for serweb refer to php.ini file? Where should that
file be located at?
Thanks in advance,
Gurol
Hi folks!!
Just a question about the t_uac_dlg parameter of the SER's fifo/unix
interface:
when the SER fifo/unix server receives the request from the
fifo/socket, does it apply the ser.cfg rules to the incoming request??
or a UAC is created which looks up the next hop (via DNS?) and send the
request to the appropriate end-point (which might be the "local" SER
instance)?
P.D. If this question is more appropriate for the developers list, tell
me and I'll post it also there.
Thanks a lot!!!

Hello,
is it possible to log the next hop destination of a request via log() /
xlog(), even if a request is routed according to loose_route()? %ru does not
do the job here.
Thank you,
with best regards,
Martin
