Aj & Paul,
This example is just what I was looking for, however I get an error on serctl start:
In syslog I get “fatal open data base /var/lib.mailman/data/aliases.db No such file or dir…”
and on console I get “cat /var/run/ser.pid No such file or dir…”
Can you point me I the right direction?

I have just observed that 0.8.14 does not have uri_db, speeddial, options modules?
could this be connected? :-)

That script I posted should only be used against ser-0.8.99-devXX or ser-0.9 which is only available in CVS. Andrei and company are working hard to get ser-0.9 stable released before Christmas.

Sounds like you should run the ser_mysql.sh script to create the correct MySQL schema.
