Hello,
Is it possible to configure Openser as an application level gateway? I am trying to setup a proxy server with Openser running on it and configured to change the contact header fields of the sip message from a private address to a public one. In line with this setup, the sip message is then forwarded to a registrar server. I tried using the mediaproxy setup on the ser getting started document but the registered contact address still pertains the private one. Can someone help me on this?
Thanks!
Hi,
Take a look to the module TEXTOPS and more specifically to the "subst" function in order to change the contains of SIP message.

Hello Sir,
Thank you for your pointers. :-) I was able to successfully register the public IP of the Openser acting as a proxy server. Although I have encountered another problem... I am not able to manipulate the host part of the contact header such that it will still remain the same. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much.
Hans

Hello,
Does anyone happen to have the openser script used by the milkfish project. I tried googling it but nothing comes up.
Thanks!

AFAIR it is in the milkfish package, not in the openser package.
