Hi, I use ngrep command for debuggin but it creates a binary file instead of text file
~# ngrep -P '' -W byline "" udp port 5060 > FILE.LOG ~# file FILE.LOG FILE.LOG: data
but I want to get a text file or I have some problems in file editors and so.
I haven't saw option in ngrep for my issue, does somebody know how ngrep to generate text files isntead of binary files?
Thanks a lot.
ngrep -W byline -T -t "yourfilter" udp port 5060 >mytextfile.txt

Thanks, and I have discovered now that the main problem is that I used: -P '' <-- nothing between '' With jsut an space or the default "." ngrep generates ASCII file: -P ' '
Thanks a lot :)
