Hello all, I need to have kamailio put its hostname on its via append instead of its IP address. How can I do this or is it possible? I have never seen this done anywhere on any SIP stack, though I am not sure that it is against the standard.

I have a softswitch that is requiring me to do that unless I put a static ip in for the trunk group, If I have to do a static IP, thats not the end of the world, but I'd like to keep it hostname based.

Why does the switch require it?
