Hello,
I am considering to release Kamailio v5.4.4 sometime next week, likely on Monday, February 15, 2020. This is the usual heads up notification to see if anyone is aware of issues not yet reported to bug tracker and if yes, do it as soon as possible to give them a chance to be fixed.
Cheers, Daniel
I'd like to see the fix for --atexit=yes|no https://github.com/kamailio/ kamailio/issues/2616 implemented in master (https://github.com/kamailio/ kamailio/issues/2616#issuecomment-772512372) be backported, perhaps with a quick look into https://github.com/kamailio/kamailio/issues/2632
I realize part of --atexit=yes|no is a new feature, but it also enables http_async_query to work with TLS in 5.4, so also a bug fix (I'm hoping you think so too).
Thank you.

Well, I'd like to see PR https://github.com/kamailio/kamailio/pull/2470 backported into a stable branch.
Me myself & I have tested quickly this new feature using the master branch and it's been working fine so far.
So yeah, please, if possible.

Hello,
the PR was adding a new feature, even more, it adds a new column to the database table, so definitely doesn't qualify for backporting to a stable branch. It will be part of the future stable release series 5.5.x.
Cheers, Daniel

Hello,
here is the usual notification that the v5.4.4 will be released today, therefore any commit to branch 5.4 should be announced on sr-dev (or irc/matrix chat) and wait for the ack before pushing to remote repository, in order to avoid conflicts with the release build process. Once the announcement is out, commits can go in the branch as usual.
Cheers, Daniel
