Hi!
"to see the complete traces" - use ngrep/tcpdump also use kamailio's sipcapture and siptrace modules, that were suggested earlier.
cheers

Search the net for ngrep, sngrep, sipgrep, tcpdump or wireshark -- all of them are open source tools that can be used for capturing the sip traffic.
For ngrep, a good command to run on sip server is:
ngrep -d any -qt -W byline "sip" port 5060

Hi,
I also use is tcpdump with the command "tcpdump -i any -s 3000 -w /var/tmp/trace.pcap".
You may also filter during the trace e.g. "tcpdump -i any -s 3000 -w /var/tmp/trace.pcap not port 22 and not port 3306".
The next step for comfortable analyzing is to use sip-scenario which I have provided at https://www.dropbox.com/s/nqay103s2rmnffq/sip_scenario.v1.2.7.zip?dl=0
This tool produces a message-flow like the attached example.

curious about sip_scenario -- is still maintained? I used very long time ago and I remember at some point it even didn't work with recent perl libs. If maintained, does it have any public dev repo?
For seeing the call flow, today I use quite a lot sngrep, which uses ncurses and does everything in a terminal, so can be used over ssh as well.
