Hi All, I have a kamailio installed in my setup which is working properly in IPV4 configuration.
I want to perform IPV6 configuration, I don't have any idea how to configure it, I have tried few things by changing *kamailio.cfg* file but did not work.
I am sharing my *kamailio.cfg *file which is working fine in ipv4 Kindly help me to configure for IPV6.
lets say my Ipv6 address is : 2402:3a80:d1a:f45a:fe44:2e54:ed2b:9bb2
Thanks,
Hello,
if you do not need anything special, just handling registrations over ipv6 and route between the users, then do:
listen=udp:[2402:3a80:d1a:f45a:fe44:2e54:ed2b:9bb2]:5060
A rather outdated tutorial, but still a good reading, is available at:
* https://kb.asipto.com/kamailio:kamailio-mixed-ipv4-ipv6
See also the core cookbook on kamailio.org/wiki, there are couple of other parameters that you can tune.
Cheers, Daniel

Thanks Daniel for your quick response.
I tried the above one which you mention above, I am sharing my screenshot which is showing it is listening on the given addresses but registration not happening, kindly saw the attached picture once.
Actually I need a basic call like below.
endopint-1 kamailio endpoint-2
REGISTER --------> | <--------- REGISTER REGISTER 200 OK <------- | ---------> REGISTER 200 OK INVITE ---------> | ---------> INVITE 180 RINGING <-------- | <-------- 180 RINGING 200 OK INVITE <-------- | <-------- 200 OK INVITE ACK ---------> | ---------> ACK
-----------MEDIA------------- BYE -------------> BYE BYE 200 OK <------------ BYE 200 OK REGISTER (exp=0) --------> | <--------- REGISTER REGISTER 200 OK <------- | ---------> REGISTER 200 OK
Thanks,

Hello,
the screenshots does not show any details about the REGISTER flow. Have a look to the actual network traffic from the client to the server to see what is happening (like is a message rejected etc..). Then report more details here on the list.
Cheers,
Henning
