then i would configure (WSS) kamailio/rtpengine SIP ---> asterisk (and talk only plain SIP "internal"). Works like a charme with kamailio/rtpengine in WSS audio only.

if its only forwarding/upgrading http to wss - for that i would use haproxy or nginx.
