Says that pid file was not found and ser could not start (usual serctl message if ser fails to start).. Btw, Im using ser_0.9.3.
I understand that I can start SER w/o serctl, but I am just curious why is it happening...
Eagerly waiting for your reply :))
Andrey.

Hello everyone!
I have a small question. Why would not SER start with "serctl start" command, if I am using configurations from getting started document? (im not talking about the first config, but the latter ones).
Andrey.

You must forgive me... The mediaproxy example is working fine, however, think it's the second example (with INVITES and REGISTERs) that gives the error

Actually, it just stalls and does nothing until i ctrl+C it. And then it would show that PID file not found message.

Check your system logs (/var/log/messages) for more detailed messages about what's causing the problem.

There are no messages at all... Is it because "fork" is set to "no"? Apparently, ser would start with ser -E -D as described in the gettingstarted05.pdf document.
