Did the module compile without errors ? Did you run make install ?

Do you have mysql client libraries installed ? If you compile it from
sources then the modules are in /usr/local/lib/ser/modules
The default configuration file that is included in the distribution
works with mysql, you just need to uncomment couple of lines in the
file, the comments in the file tell you which lines to uncomment.

I can't get mysql.so under
/usr/local/lib/ser/modules. How do you
build ser to get it right? My last try: make exclude_modules=""
modules
Then the ser.cfg, could you provide me with one that it is including
all the necessary lines for using mysql?
Thanks!

modprobe "/usr/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so" or wherever is your module
installed. Working ser.cfg is included in the distribution of ser.
