Hi all --
We're using SER as a registrar and proxy, and need to deal with the
following NAT problem:
* SER is proxying to asterisk, which is behind a firewall.
* Our users are registering with SER, but their UAs are behind
another firewall.
We're looking at nathelper and rtpproxy. Two questions:
* Will this combo (SER, nathelper, rtpproxy) work in this scenario
to solve the NAT and pinhole issues?
* Does SER have to live outside the firewall, or is there a way it
can be behind the same firewall as Asterisk?
Thanks for any insight,
Richard
