HI ALL;

I installed sems and ser.everything is ok, my problem is that no email is sent.I set the email add somebody@hotmail.com so I donot need any smtp server, in fact I need an email cleint to send the .wav file to my hotmail box.

Now plz tell me, am I right? If yes how shoul I link sems to an email client.

In fact, you need a MTA (e.g. postfix, sendmail, which are also SMTP server) which sends the voicemail to hotmail. Typically theres is one at your linux box.

make sure it is installed and running.

Take a look at sems.conf: # optional parameter: smtp_server=<hostname> # # - sets address of smtp server smtp_server=localhost

# optional parameter: smtp_port=<port> # # - sets port of smtp server smtp_port=25

So, here you can configure any SMTP server, e.g. the SMTP server of your Internet service provider or your own one.

New subject: [Serusers] Ser+mysql lockes up after reboot

Ser+mysql lockes up after reboot...is there any whay to work around the problem? When you initiate the /usr/local/sbin ser start after a system reboot ser returnes a error message.
