Hi, instead of an IP, can I use a hostname in "ip_addr" field of "gw"
table?
The hostname would have no DNS record (it would appear just in
local /etc/hosts).
Is it possible? or perhaps a real IP is required?

it is not possible. i want from_gw/to_gw functions to work by comparing
addresses without dns lookups.
