As we have in openser a new well designed presence support (see presence_* and pua_* modules), I think the PA module needs to be purged (anyhow it is not maintained).
Does anybody has any good arguments not to do it?

well...not sure what you mean by the status of presence - since 1.2 there is a working presence agent and presence user agent (pua) implementation.. as for BLI - there is the pua_bla module - it follows a draft about BLA.

Speaking for me and my colleages: if we want presence, we'll go for the presence and pua modules. My vote is for purging the PA module; it seems not stable, not maintained and there is a great substitution for it. If no one uses the old PA, let's purge it....

based on the only feedback pro-purge and non for keeping it, the PA module will be removed starting with 1.3 version
