Hi,
Sorry for sending this incompletely. I wanted to ask if Kamailio is compatible with ACME Packet or experianced by anyone in the list? and if there is any document that you recommend about such topic espacially in what is related to routing?
Is it like having kamailio with any SBC?
Thanks in advance,
F.Chahrour

There is nothing special for interoperating Kamailio with ACME, it's treated like any other SIP device. As always, it depends on what you want to do.

Thank you Andrea. I just wanted to check if there is any incompatibility between both before surfing deeply.

Can I ask one more question please?!
Am planning to send the routing decision configured in kamailio to ACME SBC; but wanted to know if anyone has an idea about the format of this routing that ACME will take from Kamailio. In other words, what is the routing output from Kamailio and that works to be as an input for ACME? And how will ACME forward a call to Kamailio to get this routing?
For example let's take the following example which summarize my target: Call from a customer will hit the ACME SBC, and the ACME SBC which will take the routing choice from Kamailio.
1- EX call to 9613555555 with Supplier A as first choice in routing and Supplier B as second choice with less priority (on Kamailio) 2- A customer on ACME calls 9613555555 where ACME will send request to Kamailio and get supplier A as result 3- ACME will try the call on supplier B (either succeeds or fails) 4- In case of failure, ACME should return (something!!!) to Kamailio and get Supplier B as second choice.
Can you explain how the above is configures between ACME (or any other SBC) and Kamailio?
Regards, F.Chahrour

Both lcr or dispatcher module can do what you want, check the docs at http://kamailio.org/docs/modules/stable/ .
You need to get an idea how this stuff works by studying the example config shipped with kamailio first though. Kamailio is a powerful proxy which can do pretty much everything you want, but you need to tell it explicitely *what* to do.
