Hi Franz,
The did parameter is used by the dialog module to easily identify
sequential requests belonging to a dialog (did=dialog ID). This param is
inserted in the RR header of the initial requests only and it is
inherited by the sequential requests via the Route header.

Bogdan

Hi,
can anyone explain what the "did" parameter in Record-Route header does?
Record-Route: <sip:192.168.0.5;lr=on;ftag=e45c4b13;did=c92.09e2afc1>
I suppose it is inserted in case of a "routing spiral", because it is
inserted when the INVITE request is routed through the proxy a second time.
Cheers
Franz
