Hi, I am a new user of openser. I have installed and configured openser on my local system. when i am trying to add a new user in database i am getting following error:
[root@Ajay-PC sbin]# openserctl add ajay ajay ajay@localhost database engine 'MYSQL' loaded Control engine 'FIFO' loaded is_user: user counter=0 check_db_alias: alias counter=0 ERROR 1054 (42S22) at line 1: Unknown column 'phplib_id' in 'field list' ERROR: introducing the new user 'ajay' to the database failed

Which version of OpenSER are You using?
Could You make the same test on an upgraded installation (last Kamailio SVN version)?

I am using openser 1.3.4 (openser-1.3.4-notls_src.tar.gz). Actually i am trying to run WeSIP open source application server. For that i need to have OPENSER configured. I want to run the sample application ( click2call.....) on it. Can you help me in installation/configuration and running the sample examples on my laptop. send me any tutorial or link to follow. Sorry but i am vary new ( just 15 days) to this technology. Kindly help me. Iam using Mysql database. Openser database is created successfully in database. I am attaching my openser.cfg file and openserctlrc for your referance.

Humm.... even if You are "new to the corner", You should be able to install Kamailio 1.5.1-SVN in replacement of OpenSER 1.3.4.
Ok, some tweaks on the config should be done, but nothing so hard that couldn't be done.
So, my advise is to spend a couple more days learning about OpenSER evolution path to Kamailio and how to migrate Your base config to this new version. When done and if still with problems, don't be afraid to ask about... ;)

Hi Ajay,
if you feel a bit uncomfortable in using a SVN version (even its from a stable branch) you could of course use the 1.5.1 tar.gz instead.

That error was caused because of the lack of srweb database (if I remember well). Make a fresh installation of Kamailio 1.5.1 and you're done :)
