I'm playing with Ser in a lab environment and have it running as a bare bones implementation. Can someone refer me to an implementation guide that might provide an uninformed person some hints on installing and using important plugins, typical configs, etc?
I'd like to interface with one/two representative commerical IP phones, maybe a Cisco router voice card, possibly an open source voice mail system, and a few other items to increase my knowledge/exerience with voice-over and the system. (Lots of experience in the POTS and protocol analysis areas but none with Ser, plugins, or voice-over.) Any suggestions for hardware/software to try, key web sites, etc, would be greatly appreciated.

Install guide:
http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/ser/sip_router/INSTALL? rev=ser_0_8_10&content-type=text/plain
Admin's guide: http://www.iptel.org/ser/doc/seruser-html/
Howto: http://www.fitawi.com/ser-Howto.html
If you use the CVS version of Ser, in addition with Sems (http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/sems/), you've got an open source voicemail system for the same price (=0).
