Pavel, forgive my ignorance in regards to nscd. I do have nscd installed as
it seams to be part of my standard Linux installation. However, there is no
/var/run/.nscd_socket file in my system. Is there a special thing I need to
do?

Subject: [Serusers] /var/run/.nscd_socket not found
Greetings,
Any ideas as to why SER startup is looking for /var/run/.nscd_socket?
It
crashes in my case and here is the strace log:
munmap(0x4002d000, 4096) = 0
socket(PF_UNIX, SOCK_STREAM, 0) = 4
connect(4, {sa_family=AF_UNIX, path="/var/run/.nscd_socket"}, 110) = -1
ENOENT (No such file or directory)
close(4) = 0
Thanks
