There is any reasons why any linked Siremis site is not accessible from Romania ?
i tried to access http://siremis.asipto.com/ and other sites and they are not accesible.

well, i tried from more then 3 differnt locations (differnt providers ) and i'm not able to access it. Also from us, i was able to access it.
also, i'm able to ping the site and i receive icmp response from it.

many network/provider addresses are firewalled based on how many times and often the login pages are accessed - blocking ip by ip proved to be quite inefficient...
If you need to download it, then just fetch it from sourceforge:
* http://sourceforge.net/projects/siremis/
Version 1.0 is on SVN and 2.0 is on GIT.
For the wikis (docs) we are looking to mirror/move the content to sf as well, but will take a bit.

The problem is that the asipto domain does not seem to be reachable from almost any romanian ISP . I could cite you a few names, but is irrelevant, as I, and others have tried to reach that site from different locations, and different providers.
The only solution was to use a web proxy (for example the one provided by Opera that routes everything through Norway) and that solved the problem.
I doubt the only romanians wanting to access that site(s) are working/studying abroad.

not the domain is firewalled, but the server, so other domains co-hosted are not accessible from many countries networks. Using the proxy is the solution for now, I know it might be not very convenient, still is giving the right results for those that need the information at no real expenses. So it is not about hiding the data, but protecting and we had to choose the safest and simplest way for the moment. As said before, lot of content is schedule for moving/replicating to other servers.
