I was hunting around for an answer to this one myself.
My minutes provider happens to require a (user:password@myprovider.com) format to be sent for authentication.
Can this also be accomplished in the rewrite??
Any examples would be greatly appreciated.

All you have to do is to read the Admin's Guide. There its shown how to use the rewrite function.
