I have found the log() function aids in debugging (obviously). Are there any low level string productions so I can pass more information to log? For instance, it would be great to: log("in route[1] with uri ".uri." and method ".method);
Can anything be passed to log() besides a static string?

I agree would be great, we do not support it now. If you want to see what was the request in question, you may dump it using the exec_msg action from exec module.
