does anybody knows the state of T.38 with MediaProxy or RTPProxy/NATHelper? Is it supported in MediaProxy v1.7.2 or the current RTPProxy(NATHelper release?

Hi Bastian,
should be no issue with T38 as it is encapsulated in RTP and both media relays operates at RTP level.

My knowledge of T38 is pretty limited, but my understanding is that T38 allows for RTP media as well as another method of transporting media. If your devices are not using RTP then MediaProxy probably won't work.

But the Problem is that the most T.38 Devices are using UDPTL for media.
Do you know some devices which are using RTP for T.38?
Is the rtpproxy/nathelper able to handle UDPTL?

T.38 over udptl is well supported by nathelper/rtpproxy. RFC 4612 is pretty fresh (August 2006) ... so I wouldn't expect to see many implementations at this point in time. But I might be wrong :)

This sounds good. Do you know if the SIPURA/Linksys ATAs are working fine with nathelper/rtpproxy and UDPTL?
