Hello.
The documentation i see on the web keeps mentioning SERCTL to do management of users and other admin.
Can someone provide a link to more relevant information on that utility or it's python replacement? I have compiled ser under ubuntu with mysql support, but now i need something that will help me add contacts to the database easily as the docs imply.
The version of ser i pulled using the download information is ser 3.2.0-dev1 according to the sercmd output.
Is the sip-router.org site also where SERCTL can be downloaded? What is the git string to aquire it if so?
thx
It should be in /usr/local/sbin along with the rest of the binaries, by default.

I agree, but it is not.
Maybe I missed a compile time switch that would have built it? I saw references on the web that indicated that it was no longer a part of the distro and that it was exported to python but with all the docs referencing it to this day, i thought that I could at least find the older version someplace.
So is anyone aware of any compiler option or other method that will produce the SERCTL binary or script?
The only things in my /usr/local/sbin are SER and SERCMD. SERCMD does not do the same things based on the output I see and some of the commands are rather cryptic (mostly methods like usrloc... et al..)

Depending on what you downloaded and configured it may be called kamctl
The build system seems a bit dodgy to me (and I don't use Ubuntu). There is the special script to do selective compiles/installs and there is also simple 'make' and 'make install' available - perhaps after some config settings
