2. you can use something like this $var(newruri)=newrurivalue; $ru = $var(newruri); if you want to change not complete ruri, take a look here http://www.kamailio.org/wiki/cookbooks/4.2.x/pseudovariables for pv related to R-URI (they are R/W)

3. pseudovariables in To header are read only, if you really want to change it, take a look at the subst functions here http://kamailio.org/docs/modules/4.2.x/modules/textops.html#textops.f.subst
