we are using ser 0.8.10.
it worked fine with SIP methods.
we would like to know whether we can use the ser to test the simple methods (simple, subscribe and notify methods)

Hello,
version 0.8.10 handles SUBSCRIBE and NOTIFY methods like any other methods that it doesn't know, it will simply proxy them.
The upcoming release will contain Presence server, which can accept SUBSCRIBE methods and generate NOTIFY methods when a presentity of a user changes.
