Hello, guys.
What is the best tool for crafting sip messages for testing purpose? For
example, simple REGISTER or INVITE message. I'm new to kamailio (not sip)
so it would be great for me to use debbuger module for step-by-step digging
into cfg.

Same here, also you can use protoshoot provided by kamailio, see
utils/protoshoot.

haven't used sip inspector but have heard good things about it
(http://www.sipinspector.com/
).

sipsak is very handy tool but AFAIK it lacks of simulating call flow like
REGISTER, 401 etc. Only -f register.message.

When I want to test special messages I write them in a test editor and
send them with netcat.
When I want to test real call flows I often use a standard SIP client
where I configure an outbound proxy. then on this outbound proxy
(usually another Kamailio instance) I do message manipulation before
forwarding the message.
