Hi, "subscriber" table has a column "timezone". While it could be useful for CDR purposes and so, I find no relationship with OpenSer itself of its modules.
Why does this column exist by default in subscriber table?
Thanks.
Hi Inaki,
Right - this field is more or less used only by serweb (cdr purposes) - openser is not using it at all.
Regards, Bogdan

Hi Henning,
If you started the discussion on this topic, there are other fields in subscriber table which are not used by openser (only by serweb): first_name last_name email_address datetime_created
Should we remove this also?

Hi Bogdan,
i would think it make sense to do so. If somebody started to use them in the past, then they could just continue doing this. For all other people this needs only unnecessary storage and makes the table more complicated then necessary.
Cheers,
Henning
that were my thoughts too, but just wanted to doublecheck.
If there is nobody speaking up on this matter by Wednesday, I will remove all this fields form the table.
Regards, Bogdan

Hi everybody,
The un-used columns were removed and the openserctl scripts update. If there are any issues, please let me know.
Regards, Bogdan
