Hello,
Kamailio usually (in the default installation) don’t have any special requirements
regarding the MySQL/MariaDB database.
So normally a database update should be no big deal regarding the Kamailio part, its save.
Of course, if you handle production data, one should always do an snapshot, a backup
before.
Cheers,
Henning

Subject: [SR-Users] Kamailio/MySQL Module compatibility with MySQL 8.0+
Hello friends.
I didn't find about it in the documentation, but I will need to update my database
version to MySQL 8.0.32 and I'm using Kamailio version 5.4.
I did some quick tests, and I only needed to adjust the user due to the authentication
mode, and with that, apparently I had no problems.
I would like to know if you are using Kamailio with the latest version of MySQL, if you
have had any problems in production, and if it really is safe to upgrade.
