I noticed on version 1.3 (DISPATCHER MODULE) you can set the gateways off Mysql DB, the question is: will be necessary to restart openser every time I add/change the gateway's IP on the DB table (Mysql)?
no restart is required: just reload them: http://www.openser.org/docs/modules/1.3.x/dispatcher.html#AEN371

check out the openserctl script: 'openserctl fifo which' - for a list of available commands.

Hello all,
Looking for a OpenSER+SIGCOMP solution. Is there any opensource or commercial SIGCOMP package that works with OpenSER other than OpenSIGCOMP?
I did fined quite a few SIGCOMP packages and is there any info you can direct me towards integration into OpenSER?
thanks Sid

I am not aware of such solution, but I am wondering how much sense still makes this complex architecture as the signaling is a small part of a conversation and the bandwidth in 3G is growing rapidly.
Cheers, Daniel
thanks Sid
