on my registrar server: after calling lookup, and getting AOR with path, how do I send the path info back as a redirect?

Is there a specification on how to do that? IIRC, right now the contact for redirect is build using only the address and q values -- this is about the c code for generating 3xx response. It can be extended if there is a spec for it.
However, even right you can use reg_fetch_contacts() in config to retrieve the records from location and build the contact header as you need.
