what is the easiest way to upgrade to the newest/most stable version of ser? please tell me how to get it and what to do if you can. also what is CVS?
also, is there a newer version of ser that was presence functionality/support built into it? i want to do windows messenger with presence functions and currently my 0.8.12 ser doesn't understand the subscribe message

I don't know, I'm using mostly versions from CVS. (may be you can find something on http://developer.berlios.de/projects/ser/)
