Hi,
if we try to compile the CVS-Snapshot on a Solaris 8 machine, we get the following error:

We do not know, how to fix this problem.

This is really strange. I am able to compile it on solaris 8 without any problems.
Are you sure you have all the files (it looks like some files are missing from the link line), and that the timestamps are ok?
Could you try a make distclean & then make? Or better checkout everything again in a clean directory.
