Hey Daniel,
Relax, im not blaming you or anybody else for not getting code up2date
:-)
i managed to get it working with what you proposed (as stated in ast
message to the tread) I would just like to see more avp functions
getting into ser also.
I know you've done loads of core-changes :-) Just still haveing a small
home that more features (like avp_printf()) would be ported to ser :-)
It might need core changes, I dont know, I still hope :-)
(ps, when are you coming to norway for beer?)

Hi again Daniel,
Thanks for the reply.

Hi Daniel,
avpops in SER or in openSER?
depending on how complex are the operations you want to do.
Hm, What about doing a backport of the functions needed for this to SER?
It must be in openSER's intrest that AVPOPS is still up2date in ser
also, and as far as I know you guys still have cvs access.
we are maintaining our code in SER. All possible changes in our code are
up to date there, too. In this case is not possible since this
functionality requires a lot of changes in core. All is based on
pseudo-variables (
http://openser.org/docs/pseudo-variables.html) - which
are used in the same format all over openser space, each new added
pseudo-variable is visible in all modules without any change there.
Im really
most intrested in just taking parts of the from, and making it
into a P-Asserted-Identity header.
This is very simple in openser, right now. In ser might be possible with
some tricks, not sure 100%.
Hm, want to give it a try (With ser :D) ? :p I need something like
p-asserted-identity: <sip:+1number@domain.com>
in fromtag I've got :
from : <number(a)domain.com>
Try a combination of subst_uri(), avp_pushto(), avp_write(). It might
not be very dynamic, but if you append only "+1", it should work quite
smooth.
Cheers,
Daniel
