yup, it cant find the page :-), there seems to be a space in serweb 2004-07-27 is so that will not work,
on ur server change directory to where the index.php page is, and the type in pwd, and cut and paste that here

I presume that in apache http://172.25.97.19/ is mapped to /root/ directory, and the test page is in there.
Also to make sure it not a php error, cp the test page in /root/ to the place where index.php is , and call it indextest.html, and then call it from the browser (make sure perms are set correctly) if that does not show, then its a path problem, if it shows, then we need to look at index.php cause its something in there.

um...then where is the test page being pulled from, when you just type in the IP address into the browser, or simply create a page , a simple html page and place it in the same directory as the index.php
eg
<html><head><title></title></head><body> This is a test</body></html>
Save this line as index2.html
and then call it using the url u gave below, but replace index.php with index2.html
If this page does not show its a mapping problem between apache and your directory structure, if it does show, then its a php problem

what error are you getting, is php installed, have u looked at ur webserver logs to see the error
