I run ser-0.8.14 in linux (debian) with kernel 2.4.xx in an embedded system with an ARM processor.
1) is important you cross compile flex and bison for your architecture 2) you must use dbtext module instead of mysql module.
bye.
Hi All
I am using SER from last one year and found it really interesting and easy to use. I have one query now. Can we port SER on some embedded system also. Can anyone guide me for that.
Regards

Is there any reason that one can't use mysql module? I thought that you only need mysql client and then can have ser access a remote mysql server.

Hi Guys
I want to minimize either linux or want to run it on embedded OS.
I didn't get your points as it has nothin to do with it.

Hi to all can someone tell me how do I put SER to register to the DB all the user registrations. I want to have a table with one line for each time a user loggs in and loggs out. The location table just have the users that are online.... Maybe this information should be in the acc table... I m using Postgres directly with SER.
Thanks to all Joao Pereira
